Lesson for mid ability KS3 students to build up analytical skills based on Chinua Achebe's Vultures. Students identify how to successfully form a PEE paragraph (ingredients list - some ideas already present but could be deleted as necessary) and then observe teacher creating a model. This can be completed as a shared writing exercise or given as an example to annotate and unpick (example provided to be used as seen fit! - was produced at a suitable level for my group).
