Phonics Phase 2 Picture Slot Machines

**Please note these files are videos due to keeping file size small. **

There is a Picture Slot machine for Set 1&2 Words, Set 3 Words and Set 4 Words. For Set 5 Words there are two versions, both of which cover the sounds in Set 5.

These videos can be used in two ways:

• Reading activity: simply play the video and get pupils to say the sounds and blend them together to make the word. Option to pause if your pupils need more time to blend.

• Writing activity: play the video and pause it when it stops on a picture. Pupils then can write the word. Once they have written it continue to play the video and pupils can check if they have written it correctly.
