Phonics - beg of Phase 3 (wk2) (following order of LCP plans). Screens provide quick revist/teach double consonant clusters ll, ss,ff, & intro to zz & digraph qu.
Screens (20) created to provide phonic lessons for the week …include revisit of short vowels, high frequency & tricky words, intro or revisit of past phonemes & focussed practise of new sounds, including reading words & sentences, writing & use of sound buttons.
Children responded well & engage in the lessons, as they are generally repetitive, over time children learn the sequence of teaching & this allows for a quick & speedy session (20-30mins as required). Can be used for whole class or group work.
Other screens are available which lightly follow the LCP planning & will be made available over coming months.
