This is for (ESL) teachers who need an engaging phonics lesson for KS1 or pre-KS1.
PPT and worksheets practice the sounds of ‘ar’ and ‘o’ (car vs dog) with CVC words.
PPT activities include recognising and differentiating sounds in words and pictures, using gestures to indicate sounds, writing/spelling.
The two worksheets can be used as a closing activity.
PPT includes teaching notes for each activity.
Suggested teaching time is 30 minutes.
