This scheme is PERFECT for October (Halloween!), and uses a haunted house as a stimulus for students to devise their own physical theatre pieces of work in a structured manner. It works great with students in year 7/8, but could easily be adapted for younger students, too (though some of the resources may need to be tamed down - they’re a little spooky!). Key skills covered include freeze frames, physical theatre, transitions, role on the wall, and hot-seating.
This is a fully updated, much higher quality version of my previous ‘Haunted House’ SoW :) It contains a 5-lesson plan, all PPTs, worksheets, homework tasks, end-of-unit quiz, assessment marksheet, and everything else you will need to simply pick it up and teach it.
