This introduces the stress unit and gives an introduction to the biology (the brain, neurons, neurotransmitters) students need to understand including links to online videos and resources to build a brain hat. Students use the slides to fill in a sheet about the Sympathetic NS and draw the Pituitary-Adrenal System. It also includes discussion points and exam-style questions, with suggestions for extension and homework activities. Approx 3 hours of teaching.
