In Plan and Budget learn to make good financial decisions by analysing long-term spending, researching and comparing costs, and planning for major purchases.

Plan and Budget is suitable for:

Students use Maps, Search, Sheets.
By the end of these lessons, students should be able to:
- Identify and analyse real world issues and problems, develop ideas and theories, and pursue answers and solutions
- Utilise a database, such as a spreadsheet, to collect, organise, graph, and analyse data to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making
- Curate information from digital sources using a variety of tools and methods to create collections of artifacts that demonstrate meaningful connections or conclusions
- Apply basic formulas (add, subtract) and advanced formulas (example: using =SUMIF to calculate costs) to spreadsheets
The resource is video-based and features FREE, ready-to-use lesson plans, rubrics to enable teachers to evaluate a student’s work across a variety of skills and levels of proficiency (i.e. beginner, developing, accomplished, and exemplary) and a dashboard to show how each student is progressing.
