Celebrating the effects of quality, systematic VALUES EDUCATION.
The inaugural World Values Day was celebrated on 20 October 2016. (http://www.WorldValuesDay.com). Teachers and their pupils around the world joined in the fun. This poem was inspired by the insights emanating from teachers practising values-based education.
Such is the growing realisation about the power of positive values - for individuals as well as families, schools, businesses, public services, governments, indeed all organisations - the hashtag #WorldValuesDay reached a potential 15 million Twitter timelines on 20th October 2016. This is an astounding result for the first ever World Values Day - but it's an indication of the growing realisation that VALUES matter and their conscious use is transformative.
