This is a really lovely activity where pupils write their own emotion poems.
These are quite simple and would suit Year 4 but I also find that older pupils can get a lot out of this too. Helps to improve their descriptive writing when they start to think about different emotions a character might feel and why.
When I've done this in the past I've displayed the children's work - Have included some words and headings for display in the resource.
