Using literacy shed’s short clip - Alma - I have created a short unit of work where the end goal is that the children write their own Police Report. Alma goes ‘missing’ and the children have to gather evidence and write a report for the Chief of Police.
Lessson 1 - Hook - gathering evidence from a range of sources - I also got the children to dress up as detectives/police officers for this day to immerse them in their learning.
