A resource that highlights to young people a range of key terms and concepts to promote awareness of those living with disabilities. It also promotes discussion around the need for positive representation both in the media, and within local communities.
As part of this activity, young people reflect on their own school environment in terms of accessibility and also the representation of people with disabilities within the curriculum. Students should be allowed to complete this activity as honestly as possible and works best when the school/ education setting is open to improving the level of positive representation it has.
