Primary Poetry bundle (The Jumblies and Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes)

This bundle contains lessons and activities linked to Edward Lear’s poem ‘The Jumblies’ and to ‘Revolting Rhymes’ by Roald Dahl. They are ideal for World Poetry Day, but can also be used at any other time of the year for poetry units.

Includes:
• Anagram and wordsearch puzzle based on the Jumblies poem.
• 2 lessons of poetry analysis and comprehension about the Jumblies.
• 2/3 lessons of diary writing linked to the Jumblies poem.
• 5 sessions and activities linked to Revolting Rhymes.

Relevant planning, teacher notes, worksheets, PowerPoint presentations and answer sheets are all included in the pack. In addition, the activities are fully differentiated, with appropriate support and extension tasks.
