Students are provided with pictorial information about 3 theodicies/arguments about how evil and suffering can coexist with an omnibenevolent God - the free will argument, the Irenaean theodicy, the Augustinian theodicy.
In pairs, students have to choose 2 of the 3 arguments to fill in on their sheet. They have to work out (using the pictures) what the argument is, and have to then think of their own ideas to agree/disagree with the argument.
