Psychology: Subject Essentials Flow-Chart

Psychology can be defined as ‘the scientific study of the mind and bheaviour’.

This PowerPoint slide contains a flow-chart summarising the key concepts that underpin the study of Psychology (at both KS4 and KS5) and makes clear how they link back to the core definition of the subject.

The slide can be printed out as a poster or to be used as a ‘desk mat’ to support students learning; students can refer back to the flow-chart in lessons to identify the meaning of key vocabular, as well as to see how what they are learning about in a given lesson links back to the ‘bigger picture’ of the subject.

The word document, also contained in this resource, contains two ‘Quiz Cards’, which link back to the flow-chart. Students can write in the answers to each question and then use this resource to quiz themselves / their classmates on their recall and understanding of key concepts.
