Question cards for slavery and the beginnings of the British Empire(what kind of work did slaves do on plantations, abolishing the slave trade and who were involved, how Britain started an empire). This resource allows students to revise and even teach themselves. When they have the answer to help their colleague their levels of retention are much higher than just reading through notes. It is a very good way to allow the students revise by themselves and involves very little teacher involvement.
