This lesson is designed to follow on from my previous lesson on dividing into parts.

- Normal PowerPoint lesson with which you can use a clicker / mouse / keyboard to continue animations and show fully animated and worked solutions.
- Worksheets for examples and exercises (Separated or together depending on how you would like to print for your students). I personally print: Examples, worksheet 1, worksheet 2.
We are learning about: Ratio - parts into parts
We are learning to: Calculate parts of a ratio, given another.
Differentiated objectives:
- Developing learners will be able to divide an amount into a given number of equal parts.
- Secure learners will be able to calculate different parts of a ratio, given another.
- Excelling learners will be able to solve unfamiliar problems involving calculating different parts of ratios.
Main: Walked through examples with bar modelling, followed by practice questions on worksheets. Increasingly difficult questions leading up to exam-style questions at the end. All solutions given on PPT.
