The 3 worksheets mostly have blank scales, this will allow you to adapt them for your own class and for differentiation. There is a fourth extra worksheet where children find the thermometer’s heat and increase it to a new temperature, recording the new measurement. The questions include measuring scales with ml, mass and thermometers. Just print out a copy and add the scale by hand, then photocopy it. This is much easier and quicker than editing on a computer! The worksheets have a star at the top right of the page; you can use this for clearer differentiation (you can add stars the harder you make it). I have provided the powerpoint version of the presentation as well in case you want to edit. Fun games are linked in the presentation. A challenge is provided where children make their own scales up with thermometers, which is also the plenary.
