Redox and Corrosion (Oxidation, Reduction and Corrosion) Edexcel 9-1

A lesson on oxidation, reduction and corrosion designed for the Edexcel 9-1 spec. Lesson covers what is rusting, what iron needs to rust, how rusting can be prevented and the difference between rusting and corrosion. Lesson then defines oxidation and reduction in terms of oxygen and asks students to apply that to some equations. Then the lesson goes on to cover the higher only content on oxidation and reduction in terms of electrons.
