Full term SOW used to teach a mixed ability GCSE class with target grades 5-8. Includes all resources which are at the end of each lesson and a range of tasks to build understanding and language analysis. Everything is differentiated – (core = red, challenge = orange, super challenge = green) including annotation tasks and question prompts. Regular opportunities for extended writing which are supported with modelled examples and writing frames, including opportunity for peer assessment and group work. Some tasks rely on students feeding back, so lots of tasks promote independent working. Also use of clips and visual media to help understanding and engagement. Please review if you buy! Thank you :)
