RWI Blue Storybook 1: Barker - Focused Sound Words

An extra task for students to practice reading and recognizing words with focused sounds from Read Write Inc. Blue Story Book 1 - Barker.

Part 1: Students will *say the words in Fred Talk or read the words speedily *(depending on each student’s performance) and then underline each two- or three-letter grapheme (-tch, -ge, kn-, -ar) in each word. These words contain the focused sounds and are from this storybook.

Part 2: Students will* fill in the missing words in different sentences*. These missing words are from the first part of the learning. This second part will help them use and remember vocabulary in the context of the story.
