Teaching children to be proud of themselves is a difficult task. This is why I have been using these ‘request a selfie’ prompts within my classroom. simply cut out the picture of the camera (with or without the words - I use both) glue to a small peg or lollypop stick and leave in an accessible place within the classroom for the children to use to us on their work. - the children can then take the copy home so that their adults can see the work they’ve done in class or the teacher could take a photo of the work and send to the parents using an online home communication page.
