There is currently a deal of controversy in the Netherlands regarding people being blacked up to play the part of Black Peter. I think you should take down your picture, it could be construed as racist.

thank you very much. I am dutch and have explained for years to my classes about the tradition of Sinterklaas with the use of picture postcards (which my children received from Sinterklaas!), but now we have entered the era of the Interactive White Board, it is all so much easier! I will certainly show this on the 5th of December and explain about the tradition of the shoes by the chimney. <br />(We will even eat 'speculaas' biscuits from lidl or aldi !)
