A booklet to review some KS3 statistics using smarties.
One pack of smarties per student is recommended.
Students create a hypothesis, collect primary data from their own pack of smarties. Then collect secondary data to build a larger data set.
The larger set can then be used to calculate the mean, percentage, create a pie chart, create a pie chart, create a composite pie chart and a scatter graph.
I normally use this at the end of the year with Year 7 or 8 over 2 to 3 lessons.
