This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Cambridge KS4 curriculum and looks at the break down of soil, erosion, weathering, fertilizer and how soil is useful for humans. As part of the specification students will also look at sand and clay soil, their characteristics and advantages and disadvantages as a growing medium.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
