Sort activity for structures with lonely hearts ad

Slightly tongue-in-cheek activity of lonely hearts ad to get pupils thinking about the four structures: ionic, giant covalent, simple molecular and metallic for AQA C2.2. Pupils need to sort the eight cards into the four categories by recognising key properties of the lovelorn atoms. Pupils could be extended to explain the points hinted at in the cards.
