I have created a scheme of work for KS3 (this is for our year 8s), which links into our three year KS4 GCSE. The exams are taken in Year 10, so year 8 is an important 'prep' year for us. This scheme of work has three themes, and each one is studied from a Christian and Muslim perspective. I have also included: key word glossaries for each unit; PLCs (personal learning checklists using the red/amber/green system) for each unit; and homework 'menus' for the first 2 small terms.
