Spring 3D Shapes Hands-on Geometry Maths Activity

If you’re looking for a hands-on activity to practise 3D shapes which has a fun spring theme, then you’ll love the crafts included in this pack.

There are nets to make:

• a birdhouse (the base is a rectangular prism and the roof is a triangular prism)
• a cabbage (sphere)
• a vegetable garden (cube)
• a carrot or umbrella (cones)
• a nest (cylinder)
• a chick (square-based pyramid)

There is a recording sheet so students can demonstrate their understanding of the properties of 3D shapes.
