This teaching resource explains the work of Dr Liz Johnson, a STEM education specialist based at Southern Research in the US, who implements an outreach programme that aims to inspire young people to embrace the joy of all things STEM.
This resource also contains an interview with Dr Johnson and three of her STEM ambassadors.
The activity sheet provides ‘talking points’ (based on Bloom’s Taxonomy) to prompt students to reflect on Dr Johnson’s work and a challenge to make an LED circuit.
