The teaching PPT includes a worksheet to guide students through their analysis of Scene 10 – the rape scene. Suggested answers are included in the PPT. It also suggests areas of contextual links and critical viewpoints that students should retain/discuss when studying the play for their A-level qualification. The resource is suitable for any specification. The PPt includes some images to help students ‘visualise’ the key events / features. There are two written responses at the end: one about foreshadowing (quotations are provided as prompts); one to interpret / evaluate the impact of the scene.
It can be used when teaching the text, giving feedback to the students on an independent/group reading or as part of their revision, either in class or independently. The resource requires no additional preparation – a great time saver for a busy teacher!
