Studio vert 2- Module 2 Unit 2: Les jeunes parisiens (activities in Paris)

This lesson is aimed at a mixed ability year 8 class, following Studio 2 vert Module 2 Unit 2 " Les jeunes parisiens". It is a one hour lesson about activities you can do in Paris(could last a bit longer for a bottom set group). Objectives: To be able to say what you like doing and using the infinitive in French. Most activities are differentiated (Bronze, silver- gold- platinum)
To delete the “sample” on each slide/document, click right and click delete.**

Lesson plan:

1-Differentiated starter: Match up activities to pictures (vocab from book)- Print off slide 1 for worksheet, display slide 2 for instructions.
2-Self-Assessment: Pupils check their answers.
3-Progress check
4-Answers for silver/gold challenge
5-Introduce “j’aime + infinitive” rule.

7-Listening task from book-I have included a slide to display instructions/lay out
8-Answers from listening-self-assessment
9-Progress check
10-Puzzle activity in groups- pupils to match up French and English to create a big triangle -(Print off word document and cut puzzle pieces or ask pupils to cut them up)
Silver challenge: Print off grid (word document), pupils to copy French or English translation.
11-Answers on slide to display
12-Progress check
13-Plenary: 1/2/3 activity to review knowledge.
