A fun subtraction activity: pupils subtract a series of 4 digit numbers from 4 digit numbers to crack the code and find the message! These subtractions require exchanging.
Inbuilt self-checking for pupils as the letters corresponding to the answers are revealed to spell words in a sentence. A solution sheet is included with all answers. The resource comes as a PDF. Differentiated with a quicker version with fewer calculations.
