A fun, quick opener to review all the core trig identities. I let students work in pairs and compete against others to win a prize. I always find that I can trust any resource from Mr Barton Maths!

This is an excellent tarsia on trig identities at Core 3, it uses the trig functions sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec and cotangent. This would make an excellent activity at any stage of the lesson, although due to the nature of trig identities it would be most appropriate as a main activity and would allow you to listen to student discussion on this topic which can be so valuable. Thank you for sharing.
