Students will gobble gobble gobble up the idea of making their own pet turkeys that they can walk for thanksgiving! They will be able to recognize the value and meaning of being thankful by constructing their own thankful turkey puppets and recalling in their own lives the things that they are thankful for during the Thanksgiving season and listing them on the puppet. A learning objective, subject summary and application in real life, materials needed for each student and the step by step directions needed to create this lesson are all detailed in each of my lesson plans.
