The Ghost Dance

Dear Colleague,

This lesson is the twenty second of a set on American West. ; It looks at Red Cloud, his struggle against the US Army, and its consequences. It aims to have students matching knowledge on events and answering exam questions.
All lessons are interactive, have a same-model structure to get the students taught in a coherent manner, and always understand where they are at in their learning:

LO 1:To describe conditions in the reserves by 1880.
LO 2: To order causes and consequences of the Wounded Knee massacre.
LO 3: To evaluate the consequences of the Wounded Knee massacre.

All tasks are assessed.
A very straight forward lesson.
The resources are at the end of the Power Point. I made a set on Plain Indians, Settlers and Development of the Plains, Law and Order, Law and Crime, the full unit (24 lessons £7.71).
