I have used this resource with my Year 2 group of Working At/ Expected and Working Above/Greater Depth readers and the children have really enjoyed the tasks. The children call this their ‘selfie questions’ as they answer them independently.

This resource contains planning for the entire book.Each page is based on 9 pages from the book. The questions cover a range of different types including retrieval, inference, prediction and clarification and each ‘selfie’ sheet has an extension task.

This is also a resource which could easily be used with Year 3 as well as a week long end of term reading comprehension.
