A sequence of lessons on Frances Hardinge’s The Lie Tree, to accompany a reading of the book. The lessons are focused around the first half of the book, with discussion points and a number of activities around context, comprehension and language. There are 8 lessons in included in this pack with accompanying resources and a sheet for new vocabulary. Lessons were designed for a mixed ability Year 7 class, but can easily adapted to support other age groups/abilitues.
