Explore the unique position Kay Graham was in during the 1970s and her bravery to publish articles on the Pentagon Papers. Ask students to read and respond to a primary source excerpt from the original Pentagon Papers article by the New York Times from June 13, 1971 as if they were living during that time and then summarize the role four presidential administrations played in mishandling the Vietnam War.
