Detailed contents covering: the political world map in 1945; France excluded; Soviet, British, and American hopes; Stalin, Churchill, and Truman (and FDR); the Morgenthau Plan’s four points; the division of Berlin; German ex-pats, resettlement; reparations; the continuing war in the east – Soviet and American commitments; the atom bomb; the Potsdam Agreement.
20 questions for the c. 30-minute film. (My link omits commercial message at the beginning). Differentiated! Both versions look very similar, but “B” version has subtle clues. Questions right up to the end, no slack time! Creates a great intro / revision / summary resource. Answer sheet. Very easy to mark. .doc & .pdf for all files.
