The Problem of Evil and Suffering

A fifty-six page workbook that covers all aspects of the Problem of Evil and Suffering required for A level examinations. The booklet covers the problem itself, the theodicies of Augustine, Irenaeus, John Hick’s soul-making and Process theodicy. The strengths and weakness of each theodicy are considered, including reference to different philosophers’ views. Students have various tasks and activities throughout and an appropriate question at the end. Plus suggestions for further reading and research. The booklet has been put together by the author of recognised A level textbooks and a former examiner for both OCR and AQA.
