This pack includes a Roman Day resource, a Roman class assembly, 3x reading comprehensions and a Roman activity pack.

Roman day pack:
Resource pack for an exciting and informative Roman-themed day. Includes instructions for five fun activities, a factsheet for homework, a letter to parents, challenges and a song. This Roman day has been tried and tested with key stage two pupils who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learned lots of new information.

Assembly script:
Imaginative script for an interactive and entertaining Roman class assembly. This script includes parts for up to 30 children and several interactive activities. This assembly has been tried and tested and received great feedback from staff, parents and children.

Reading Comprehensions
This resource is a pack of three reading comprehensions on the subject of ancient Rome. The topics are as follows: Entertainment in Ancient Rome, The Roman Army and The Roman Baths. They are designed for KS2 and the questions reflect content domains 2a- 2d: explaining the meaning of words in context, retrieval, summarising and inference using evidence. Question formats include multiple choice, true/false, ordering and find and copy.

Activity Pack
Included are a word search, quiz, crossword and writing activity.
