One lesson covering the upper course of a river, with the following learning objectives:

1. To develop confidence analysing photos and describing key features
2. To modify the process of waterfall formation into the significant stages
3. To apply processes of erosion to the landscape of a river’s upper course

Challenge activities (in pink bubbles) have also been included.

I've used this for an interview lesson with a high-ability Year 10 class - and rated Outstanding - but the activities can easily be adapted to fit other ages and abilities.
