The Very Hungry Caterpillar Digital Board Games

These Hungry Caterpillar Digital Board Games include 6 boards divided into 3 types:

*Picture boards
*Colouring Boards (to be used with annotate/draw software)
*Text and Picture Match Boards (pictures can be dragged in place)

Board game pieces can be dragged and dropped as the players move from START to FINISH. The games can be played as part of an online teaching or therapy session or set as an assignment for independent play and study. Physical dice can be used but we suggest using a virtual dice or virtual spinner. Simply have it open in your browser on another tab separate from your boomlearning page.

Audio is recorded in Scottish Standard English. This may be useful for listen and repeat game play, for literacy support with the text boards or for independent use. Game play suggestions are included for ideas on dynamic game play to maximise language use.

Within each game type, there are 2 boards:
Board 1 - The fruit the caterpillar eats in the story.
Board 2 - The complete food collection that the caterpillar eats.

Especially useful for ESL, EAL, EFL and teletherapy sessions.
