A 3 week narrative unit of work for Year 6 or UKS2 (but can be adapted for LSK2!) based on the book Escape from Pompeii by Christina Balit following Jane Consodine’s ‘The Write Stuff’ approach to teaching writing.
A pdf version and an editible word version are included, plus resources for experience days.
Works really well alongside Geography topic if looking at Earthquakes and Volcanoes.
