Theme of Violence in Jekyll and Hyde

Disappointed and not what I thought I was purchasing. The advert says: 'A full analysis of the purpose and role of violence in the novel, and a grade 9 essay for your students to learn from or retain for the exam.' However, the example essay is only about the extra, not the novel as a whole in addition (the exam requires both extract and whole novel to be tackled)... and the author actually gives the students the task of rewriting the essay to include parts from the novel, as required for the exam! For AQA at least, an essay written wholly about the extract would be a rubric infringement. Therefore, the author cannot claim that this is a grade 9 example essay. The sole reason I purchased this was for a Grade 9 essay about 'the purpose and role of violence in the novel', as advertised, and this is not what I received.
