Pitched towards SEN/ lower attainers in KS1.
Includes communicative widget symbols and simple sentences.
Using the ‘my turn, your turn’ approach this scaffolded sheet includes sections for 6 sentences where children alternate writing and drawing a picture to the prewritten sentences which are simple and go through the events beginning with the crash of the iceberg to arriving safely in New York after being rescued by the Carparthia Ship.
eg. I woke up in the middle of the night because I felt a bump. I was cold and hungry on the lifeboat. The Carpathia Ship rescued us.

Good for children who may feel sensitively towards the subject.
