a great revision task - thank you
Almost perfect, an alternative last step that works is:
Rotate ‘T’ 90° clockwise about the point (-1, 4) and label the new shape ‘U’
Then a single transformation from A to U is a 90° rotation anti-clockwise about the point (2, -1)
This is great, thank you. For anyone is who was wondering, if you change the transformation of T to: Rotate ‘T’ 90° anti-clockwise about (2, 2) and label the new shape ‘U’, then there is a transformation to map A onto U which is a rotation 90 degrees clockwise about (2,4).
Have tried it with my Y11s as a home learning exercise. I can see that there is a single transformation from A to T but not A to U. Would be interested what others think. Other than that an exacting task which consolidates all the work we have just done for OCR Unit B Transformations topic so far
