Types of Triangles Posters

This set of eye catching posters will look great in your classroom and will help students learn the classification of triangles.

There are six posters which describe the classification of triangles by side length and angle size. The posters included, along with the description, are:

Equilateral
-All sides the same length
-All angles the same size
-Three lines of symmetry

Isosceles
-Two sides the same length
-Two angles the same size
-One line of symmetry

Scalene triangle
-No sides the same length
-No angles the same size
-No lines of symmetry

Right angled triangle
-One angle is a right angle (90 degrees)

Acute triangle
-All angles are acute (less than 90 degrees)

Obtuse Triangle
-One angle is obtuse (more than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees)
