Understanding the Stanislavsky Technique

This resource booklet (Word Document and Powerpoint files) is catered for Grade 8-11 Dramatic Arts and teaches concepts in the Stanislavsky technique for application in group scene or monologue practical tasks. It follows the MYP/ IB Curriculum which is inquiry based. The booklet contains Stanislavskian techniques/acting methods such as “Given Circumstances”, “Emotional/Sense memory”, “The Magic If”, “Beats and Objectives” and “Subtext”, along with practical exercises in exploring these concepts.
