I have used this with a range of abilities.
It has added a sense of focus and provided a springboard and a safety net for some, in terms of how they approach the question.
It provides simple scaffolds and can be used as part of a lesson to structure writing or to develop discussion, and encourage pupils to use the language of comparison.
There is also supportive vocabulary and effective questions that can be used to draw out key ideas and develop understanding for further analysis.
