Using Peer support to assist with transition

Transition can be a difficult time for young people made more difficult by the the worries and concerns about what will happen at 'the big school' This package outlines how through the development of a Peer Support group this issue can be addressed and supported. The initiative has been tried and tested, acknowledged and published in 'Moving to Secondary School~ advice and activities to support transition' by Lynda Measor and Mike Fleetham. The powerpoint can be supported by the use of 'Beautiful' by Christine Agulara (words supplied) and 'Proud’ by Heather Small.
